Recently, Governor Charlie Baker announced a phased approach to reopening Massachusetts. We are currently in Phase I of the reopening plan, which allows for youth sports organizations to begin preparations for an upcoming season. We are using this time to get our fields ready and implement CDC and Little League recommended social distancing protocols for when our little leaguers can return to the field. Phase II allows players and coaches to have access to the fields for practices and other activities. Phase III will allow for the playing of games. The phases of re-opening will be dictated by public health updates and each phase will last a minimum of 3 weeks.

As of now, North Leominster Little League is planning to complete our 2020 season when the Governor’s phased reopening plan allows and in compliance with all relevant government and Little League guidelines.
